Abstract: The article examines the management of the technical operation of vehicles at automobile transport enterprises. Effective management requires the integration of planning, organization, motivation and control functions. Production organization is determined through the enterprise’s production structure, which reflects the main production units, and the organizational structure, which governs and coordinates production processes. The system of technical operation is influenced by external factors, including the annual number of customer vehicle visits, the distribution of maintenance and repair work along different technological routes, and the uneven flow of technical service requests. The paper investigates how these factors affect the choice of an optimal production and organizational structure of road transport enterprises. Parameters describing different production structures are given. Methods of system analysis, simulation modeling, graph theory and process mining were used. Simulation experiments involving four production structure variants under varying conditions were conducted, resulting in recommendations for choosing the optimal enterprise structure.
