Guest editors' responsibilities

The role of a guest editor in a special issue includes the following tasks:
• Selecting and editing the content of the special issue.
• Inviting authors and collecting papers.
• Communicating with authors to manage the publishing process.
• Editing and reviewing submitted papers to ensure quality and coherence.
• Coordinating with the journal's editor-in-chief.
• Conducting the peer review process and ensuring each paper is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.
• Sending review results and editorial decisions to the editor-in-chief.
• Carefully considering and reporting any conflicts of interest among all participants in the review, decision-making, and publication process.
• Adhering to publishing ethics guidelines to ensure the integrity and credibility of the publication process.
